Hi guys
Danielle, Call sight and sound, and speak to Denis in tech support. He does a lot of scripting for people in jobs in the UK, if anyone can help you he can. I'm not sure what it costs, but I'd asume that he'd talk to you about that when you called him. He'd also be more likely to be able to tell you if the scripting is possible, and if he can't find a demo to look at on your behalf.
If the program is Java based you need to have the Java Access Bridge installed on your computer. This allows you to access most Java application interfaces (at least those that use the Swing classes to write their GUI).
This might be the solution rather than the Jaws scripting. Problem with Java is that it comes with its own set of graphic rendering and it's pretty independent from Windows display drivers which renders Jaws useless.
I don't have the guidelines for installing Java Access Bridge handy right now but I can try and find them. You can also go to either Google or www.sun.com and see if you find it from the Accessibility section.
i'd at least look at this before resorting to Jaws scripting.
cheers

Thanks for this, I'll have a look.
We are facing this same issue at where I work right now, our company has hired a script writer that they found through the rehab services here
